Email Auto Correct

We are proud to announce we have launched a new feature called Email Auto Correct. There are many cases where users quickly type in their email address for example and we would generally mark this as an invalid email ID because the customer made a typo when entering the domain. Clearly in this example the user would have intended to type, but dropped the letter “h”.

Now you will have the ability to enable Email Auto Correct under your “Email Settings” tab. When you do this we will be able to fix common domain typos and formatting issues when obtaining email addresses. This new feature will work with both our Javascript and our API integration. This is exciting news because you will no longer have to tell the user the email address is no good due to a minor domain typo.

What’s Next?…Premium Data!

With the need for data verification on the rise we have been hearing an increased demand for data append. We are looking to launch a great solution to being able to provide crucial customer data called XVerify Premium Data which will return information such as marital status, occupation, household income, and much more.

Businesses constantly want to learn more about their users/clients to enhance targeted marketing or for analytical purposes, but it is also important to wisely select who will be doing your data appending. Learn How To Stop Your Email Campaigns From Hitting Spam Folders & Black Lists

If your business is to send out email communications it is important to monitor and measure how those emails are performing. You invest a lot of time in monitoring how many emails you send, split testing, open rates, click through rates and more, but what happens when users are unable to see your message. Perhaps you wake up one day and suddenly your messages are no longer delivering to the inbox but instead you are now hitting the users spam/junk folder. This is going to take a huge toll on your revenue. In order to help educate you on how messages get sent to spam folders, you can take steps to prevent this from happening.

How do emails get to the spam folder?
Have you ever wondered how your email provider chooses to push emails into the junk folder without you requesting the email to go into the spam folder? Well much of that depends on users. If the trap email accounts start receiving emails it sends a red flag to the ESP where they can immediately blacklist that sending server.

If it is important to you to maintain a good delivery, then you should always mail to an opted in list and try to avoid list buying at all costs. What do you do to get removed from a blacklist?

Some of the common steps you can take are to first identify if you are actually on the blacklist or if the emails are just getting filtered to the junk folder. Testing is the best way to do this, you will send your email campaigns out and then look to see which domain is not getting them. Once you have confirmed you are on a black list the first thing you should do is make sure your server is not sending any unauthorized emails. To help identify this, check the amount of volume you are emailing, try to identify compromised accounts, check for emails that send to one account and then forward to another account. What is the best practice?
The best practice is to send to a safe list, and use a double opt in method to ensure the user is going to want your emails. We have recently revamped our website; added new services such as phone confirm and reverse phone, as well as added new settings to our existing services.

New Features:
As I mentioned we added new features to our existing services such as giving you the ability to not accept toll free phone numbers. This will help you eliminate many business based phone numbers if you choose to enable this custom rule. We will even allow you to add or remove specific area codes so there maybe reasons you want to accept 800 numbers but not 877 numbers.

We are now also providing you with opportunities to use test email IDs that do not cost you verification. We had several clients request a way that they could test their registration paths without increasing the number of verifications used. You can now setup one or more testing email IDs and any time those email ids go through validation they will not appear as verification.

Keyword blocking is another new rule we have released for email verification. Suppose you are acquiring many email Ids such as webmaster, admin, test, fake you can specify keywords such as these and any time the handle of the email contains the keywords we will suppress those for you and prompt the user to enter a different email ID.

LeadScoring – Whats Your Score?

What’s your score?
A service that Xverify will be rolling out with soon, will enable our clients to score their leads. This will allow you to identify your high quality leads vs your low quality leads. Businesses are ready to pay top dollar for high quality leads, so check what range your users are falling into before you attempt to sell your lists.

Similar to a grading scale we will grade what the user has provided on a scale of 0 – 100%. We will be giving you eight criteria points to check against what the user has entered into your form. These eight criteria points can be set to hold certain value based on your specification.

For example if you feel that is most important for the last name to be the same as what the user entered in your form then you can set the number of points to be higher for the criteria point “last name matches.” If everything comes back as a match the results will show a 100% match. Whether it is name matching or street address matching, Xverify gives you the control of organizing your accurate information and grading your leads accordingly.

This will be a service that sends back the information via XML format and will pretty much be just as straightforward to use as the rest of our services. San Francisco Satisfaction

Welcome back to a Monday morning. We had an amazing trip out to San Francisco for the daily deal summit. This was our first time running a booth so during setup we found it a little tricky but once we got our booth up we were then ready to get the show started.


We were very pleased with the outcome of the event and had an opportunity to meet some really great people, and learn about some interesting business models. I got a chance to listen to some well known speakers at the event as well. One thing I was most impressed with is that we received many compliments about our booth and our product. Just from meeting with people at the event, and getting their feedback I already have new ideas on ways we can add more value and expand XVerify.

The summit was held at the Marriott, which was a very nice hotel and the breakfast/lunched that was served to the attendees was great. However, I think most people enjoyed Thursday because they had an open bar! One lesson learned is if you set your booth up near the bar you are more likely to attract more visitors!
